Would you like to become a friend of the OPS? Being a friend of the OPS means you would be invited to attend select scientific meetings and other activities of the OPS that are open to non-members. It also means you might be able to access and download papers related to these presentations when presenters have made them available.

You may become a friend of the OPS if any of the following applies to you:

  1. You are currently or have in the past been active in the provision of clinical psychotherapy or related mental health services
  2. You are a trainee (resident, intern or student) in a related field
  3. You are involved in training or teaching psychotherapy or psychotherapy research
  4. You are a member of non-IPA psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapy group

These meetings are usually held on either a Thursday evening or a Saturday morning. The fee for attending each meeting is $40, and $20 for residents and students. The schedule of scientific meetings is posted here. You would be able to RSVP and pay for attending online.
